Massive fire breaks out at Styrofoam Factory in Western Japan
Massive fire broke out in the styrofoam factory in Japan’s Hyogo prefecture in the western region of Kansai on Saturday and engulfed the area of 820 square meters (8,826 square feet), local media reported.
The fire reached a parking lot of a neighboring residential building and destroyed some 40 vehicles. People living near the fire area were evacuated, according to the local media. The media resources report no casualties but say the fire left 230 households without electricity. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
